11.11.2011, Die Evolva Holding AG (SIX: EVE) gab heute bekannt, dass Alexandra Santana Sorensen das Unternehmen aus persönlichen Gründen zum 29. Februar 2012 verlassen wird. Die Verantwortungsbereiche von Dr. Sorensen werden auf die anderen Mitglieder der Geschäftsleitung übertragen.

Alexandra Santana Sorensen gehört zu den Gründern von Evolva und war seit 2004 Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung. Sie war zunächst für die Entwicklung der Technologie des Unternehmens zuständig und später für die präklinische Entwicklung.

Neil Goldsmith, CEO und Managing Director der Evolva Holding AG, sagte: „Alexandra Santana Sorensen war wesentlich daran beteiligt, Evolva zu dem Unternehmen zu machen, das es heute ist – sowohl im Hinblick auf seine Technologie als auch auf seine Produkte. Evolva hat dank ihres Engagements und Know-hows viel erreicht. Wir bedauern ihren Entscheidung uns zu verlassen, verstehen aber die Gründe für ihren Rücktritt. Ihren Bemühungen war es unter anderem zu verdanken, dass Evolva heute über eine erfahrene Geschäftsleitung mit breiter Kompetenzbasis verfügt, der auch Prof. Dr. Jutta Heim (Technologie) und Dr. Norbert Bender (klinische Entwicklung) angehören. Daher sind wir bestens in der Lage, ihre bisherigen Verantwortungsbereiche adäquat wahrzunehmen. Wir wünschen ihr für ihre Zukunft alles Gute.“
